The Tre Project – Rediscovering Cornwall and Isles of Scilly through Archive Film continues its tour across Cornwall screening rare archive material and beautiful new locally made films.
Barbara Santi, director of awen productions says “We will be coming to Golant Village Hall as part of Carn to Cove’s rural touring scheme as well as special screenings produced as part of TIN Tales & Trails – an extensive outreach programme of walks, talks and events all delving deeper into the real life stories and heritage behind Miracle Theatre’s new show ‘Tin’, which is really exciting. These screenings at The Count House, Botallack and Sterts Theatre near Liskeard will be focusing on mining archive of the area as well as other Cornish crafts and industries.”
‘Tre’ is a Cornish word for 'home/homestead' and the evenings will delve deeper into Cornish local life. The tailor made shows with specially selected archive film reflecting each of the areas will be a unique opportunity to look at Cornwall’s exciting screen heritage.
