The Carey Collective comes to the Poly fresh from its debut as the House Band at Eden Projects’ “Time of Gifts” 2011.

The Ensemble, which draws entirely on creative musical talent within Cornwall, is made of 11 musicians including world folk band “BragaTanga”, plus two percussionists, guitarist, pianist, horn section and a handful of singers.

The Band is led by Jim Carey, who has produced haunting soundtracks for film makers, and has created inspirational music for the likes of Cornwall’s Kneehigh and Miracle Theatre Companies, Cscape dance and Eden Project productions.

Treat yourself to this diverse and exciting mix of new arrangements of some traditional BragaTanga tunes. Indulge in the soulful explorations of Jim’s own songs and compositions and share the exuberance of the collaborative bigger band sound. Plus special guests, Eden Choir leader, Vicky Abbott and friends.
