CRIBHUT THEATRE PRESENTS 'A PLACE BY THE SEA'
Where 'Kettleboys' was indubitably Cornish in its origins and style, CRIBHUT'S new play, 'A Place By The Sea', is universal in its themes of loss, courage in the face of tragedy, and redemption. CRIBHUT utilises mesmerising story telling mixed with original music to show how a couple of children's tv entertainers, Buzz and Bea, use the light-hearted telling of fairy-tales in their show as a distraction from the destructive grief of their shared past.
As the story unfolds, the intrusive nature of modern tabloid journalism is explored. Who is the story-teller? Who is the story? And just how far will a reporter go to get his story?
