This is a literary day at Treriefe House, Newlyn on July 11th.  From 2.30 in the afternoon there will be children's events including Bilbo, the lifesaving dog from Sennen beach (favourite to win pet hero of the year 2010) and his master Steve reading from their book, children's authors Chris Higgins, Liz Kessler, Anne Kelley and Jane West doing talks and workshops for children.  Later on, storyteller Mark Harandon will be performing his amazing stories, suitable for older children and adults.  During the evening there wil be adult speakers including Simon Gandolfi, author of 'Old Man on a Bike', talking of his expolits motorcycling round South America at the age of 76 and wonderfully witty performance poet Murray Lachlan Young (check him out on youtube) performing some of his poems from the Edinburgh Fringe last year as well as brilliant new material.  The event is sponsored by Polgoon vineyard, Penzance who are offering a complimentary glass of Polgoon wine with every evening ticket sold.  Children's events are free.
