Liz Nolan presents Kids & Co in Pandora’s Box.

Kids & Co, the Liz Nolan Theatre Dance School’s performance company, will be presenting Pandora’s Box at St. John’s Hall, Penzance on Thursday, 22nd, Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th April at 7.15pm with a matinee at 2.30pm on Sunday 25th April. An exciting musical dance show performed by the talented youngsters from this highly respected company.   Proceeds will be donated to Cornwall Hospice Care.

Mount Olympus is a peaceful and tranquil place, home of the gods and ruled by almighty Zeus. Carelessly Pandora, drops her box which falls from Mount Olympus through the clouds to Earth. Zeus orders Pandora to retrieve the casket ‘before the evils contained within are set free and a terrible fate befalls mankind’. And so Pandora begins a fascinating journey.

On Earth she meets three mortals Beth, Nikki and Sussie and enlists their help in the quest to find her box.  Together they travel under the sea to the kingdom of Poseidon and his queen Amphitrite where we meet mermaids, jellyfish, sharks and all kinds of sea creatures. But the box falls further and land in the underworld, ruled by Hades. They must pass the fearful Cerebus, the three headed dog and Charon, the gatekeeper to pass through lost souls of the dead and enter the underworld. Can Pandora and her friends escape from Hades, retrieve the box and save the Earth from catastrophe?  An evening not to be missed.
