The Works and RELAYS are working in conjunction with the Cornwall Film Festival and University College Falmouth to bring a unique dance for camera package to this year’s film festival.

Join us at The Phoenix for an evening of fresh and innovative Dance for Screen works. The screening event will open with an introduction to dance for the screen by eminent film artist Peter Anderson, and a special showing of his latest dance for screen work On Your Marks. 

This new piece of work was commissioned by the BBC, South West Dance and Arts Council England South West, and focuses on the marriage of sports and the arts based on the ideology behind the Cultural Olympiad.

The film has been shown on the BBC’s Big Screen and incorporates performances by dancers from the Southwest, choreographed by Southwest-based dance artist Jules Laville.
