Four community groups across the county of Cornwall created their own dances, to celebrate the Olympic torch relay passing through their villages on Saturday 19th May 2012.
 

The Dance Facilitators were Caroline Schanche and Emmalena Fredriksson in Marazion, Sarah Jarvis in Lanivet, Gemma Kempthorne in St. Austell and Carmen Hunt and Lois Taylor in Liskeard.

The Project Co-ordinator was Saffy Setohy, Dance Partnership Development Officer at The Works Dance and Theatre Cornwall, (theworksperformingarts.co.uk)The live music was performed by Bagas Degol, Caracana and Liskeard Street Band

It is part of Big Dance which is a national initiative to encourage the whole country to get involved in dance.
