Global Gardens was an inspired outdoor project that took place in Summer 2010 at the magical Trebah Gardens.

Written by Anna-Maria Murphy, accompanied by heart stopping music by Jim Carey and using Cscape's unique blend of dance storytelling, Global Gardens whispered tales of journeys, chillies and homecomings, stories of flowers whose scents broke hearts and plant hunters who travelled the world for rare blooms.

An ensemble cast of 100 dancers, actors, artists and the community members, joined together to tell these stories through captivating and intricate performance, installation and sound, interwoven through the garden and down to the beach. The Global Garden film, made by Brett Harvey (o-region) documents and celebrates the performance to great effect, capturing the beauty of the site, the physicality of the dancers and the magical feel of the project.
