On the 15th November last year Jennie Price CEO of Sport England announced that County Sports Partnerships will be leading on a national programme called 'Sportivate' which is within the government's 2012 legacy plan 'Places, People, Play'.

Sportivate - a nationwide campaign that will capture the excitement of sport, providing opportunities for teenagers and young adults (aged 14-25) to receive no less than 6 weeks of coaching in the sport of their choice and guiding them into regular participation within their community - will be led by us for the next four years starting on April 1st 2011.
