The Accidental Festival is a multidisciplinary arts festival held annually at prestigious London venues such as the ICA, BAC, and the Roundhouse where it will return for the third time in  2012. The festival will run between 31 May and 3 June, providing a place for emerging and established artists to showcase their work side by side.

The Accidental Festival is open to applicants from all art fields, including but not limited to: Theatre, Live Art, Spoken Word, Dance, Circus, Film, Animation, Music, Photography, Design, Fashion, Fine and Digital Art, Multimedia and/or Interactive Installations.

Programmed artists will have the chance to showcase their work for free at the Roundhouse, one of London's top performance venues. They will also have the opportunity to attend Professional Development opportunities, and receive feedback in case their submission is a work in progress.

Works programmed last year include a great variety of works, such as 'Quizoola' by Forced Entertainment, an telematic theatre installation by Julian Maynard Smith, a site-responsive dance performance by Seven Sisters, a verbatim play by students from the Central School of Speech & Drama 'To be Taken with Water', a night scratch works presented by Disraeli, along with various other installations, music gigs, and more.
