A 4 day intensive laboratory researching and exploring embodied practice as a paradigm for making and solo performance for emerging and professional artists.
Thursday 12th April from 5pm - Sunday 15th April at 10pm
Buckfastleigh, Devon, UK.
The weekend will include daily contemplative practice, bodywork, solo performance practice and making. The Lab will culminate with an informal performance event of work and research generated over the weekend on the Sunday evening and artists will have access to space to explore their own practice on the Friday and Saturday evenings.
The intensive will focus on cultivating presence in moment to moment moving, speaking, sounding and breath rhythm - to allow the nature of ones being-ness to emerge and to be felt and to make, move & perform from this state of awareness - a sense of bringing something to light.
