To co-ordinate the Drawing Inspiration Project on behalf of the Dorset Area of OutstandingNatural Beauty Partnership. The Project will explore the cultural legacy of artists whoworked in the Dorset landscape, with a series of linked activities, events and exhibitionsacross Dorset in partnership with local museums and community organisations.The Project is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund and will focus on the artistdepictions of the landscape, past and present to develop an awareness of the specialqualities of the landscape and of landscape change.The Co-ordinator will be required for 28 months from August 2012 to November 2014.The contract is being let by the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Partnership,which is hosted by Dorset County Council.
The Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Team have recently receivedHeritage Lottery Fund support for the new Drawing Inspiration Project andwe are looking for a consultant Project Coordinator to bring the project tolife. The Drawing Inspiration project will explore the cultural legacy leftby artists who have lived and visited the county, and present it in a waythat will inspire and develop new ways of appreciating, understanding andinterpreting the Dorset's landscape.  The Project will comprise of a seriesof linked activities, exhibitions and events across Dorset, culminating ina programme of activities in spring 2014.
