Miracle Theatre Company began touring outdoor theatre shows in Cornwall in 1979. In the intervening years Miracle has undertaken 45 touring productions (including 24 new plays and 19 original adaptations. It is firmly established as one of the South West’s leading small scale touring companies, producing a varied, popular and highly regarded body of work.

In summer, the company visits outdoor sites in amphitheatres, gardens and castles, bringing the unique and memorable experience of live theatre to people of all ages.

Miracle produces up to three shows a year and visits over 100 venues across Cornwall, the Scilly Isles and the rest of the South West. Through its partnerships with Rural Touring schemes. Miracle tours regionally, usually for very short runs or one-night stands in village halls and smaller-scale venues.

The touring company consists of 5-6 performers and crew, travelling with full set, lights, sound and costumes, and adapts to venues of all shapes and sizes.
