This is the story of a young black man's search for his mother who mysteriously disappeared when he was a baby. He has recently learned of her possible fate and must journey through extremely hostile terrain in his quest for the truth. This is a story of revenge and bitterness, of recrimination and betrayal, of prejudice and hate, and of compassion and acceptance
This film is a slice of realism with resulting consequences that affect most lives directly or by association. It concerns a group of siblings, aged 8 - 21, living with their seriously neglectful mother and how the projected consequence of such abandonment manifests to create this tragic tale.
