I’m a theatre director with ten years experience in creating work in open air and unusual settings including aquarium tanks and on trampolines at the beach. I’m a specialist in Shakespeare.

My devised work is about intimacy: I create hair-raising, ugly-beautiful, provocative work which surprises and challenges audiences.

I’m obsessed with love and this is obvious from my work, which is mostly about the tragedy, euphoria, embarrassment and perversity of chemical addiction to another person. I used to work for the NSPCC and for ChildLine, so I have an ongoing obsession with dissecting relationships and trying to understand the psychology of cruelty.

I’m currently working on a performance art installation called The Cure for Love, which is part puppet show, part aerial dance, and part live bed show with integrated psychology lecture and audience dating agency. Do come and have a look: maybe you’ll meet someone to fall in love with.
