Footsbarn Theatre In 1971, two young drama enthusiasts, Oliver Foot and John Paul Cook, had started to put together ‘rough theatre, raw theatre’, as Foot called it, based on Cornish myths and legends. They toured Cornwall, playing in villages, on beaches, in town halls and car parks, but their HQ was a farm near Liskeard where the theatre work took place in a barn, Foot ’s barn. …
