I trained in Stage Management at Guildford School of Acting, and have worked as a freelance stage manager in and around London and now in Cornwall. I also have experience and a qualification in prop making. I run the production arts course at Truro College.
I am passionate about theatre and love being creative.
Nichola Butland at Lyrebird creates costumes and accessories for the theatre. She has recently carried out work for Miracle Theatre, Cube Theatre, the Royal Cornwall Museum and the Performance Artist Samantha Sweeting , as well as private costume commissions. Nichola is a Guest Lecturer in Theatre at Dartington College of Arts at University College Falmouth.
