BishBashBosh Productions are a new production company from Cornwall dedicated to commissioning, developing and producing Cornu-centric theatre, film and media – new work that offers a response to Cornish issues, trends and events. We find our inspiration in landscape, community, multi-culturalism, Celticity, and literature and theatre across frontiers. In this way we hope to develop a National Theatre for Cornwall [Gwaryjy Kenedhlek rag Kernow]. Since 2007 we have produced critically-acclaimed productions in Cornwall, London and on tour, including Oogly es Sin, The Tin Violin, Surfing Tommies and A Mere Interlude. Our stage plays are often broadcast simultaneously on BBC Radio Cornwall, and have been nominated for Sony Regional Radio Drama awards. We aim to develop new work through events, workshops, readings, research and literary programmes. Our remit is also within education, to work with students and teachers both in and outside of Cornwall.
