Archived'it goes live!
Back in summer 2011 Neon Dance choreographer Adrienne Hart pitched the idea of working with the Dartington Hall Trust Archive Collection to create a web application that would encourage an online audience to engage with the archive creatively.
A year on, and with the help of filmmaker Alice Powell, web developer Luke Shumard and composer Ólafur Arnalds, Archived’it is finally here!
Archived'it is an experimental HTML5 and JavaScript project, which uses edge-case technology. The web application allows anyone to create their own version of ‘Dance on Steps’ (1934), re-imagined to a soundtrack provided by the acclaimed Icelandic composer Ólafur Arnalds.
