KEAP: Next Generation
‘Every child and young person has the opportunity to experience the richness of the arts’ Achieving Great Arts for Everyone Goal 5, Arts Council England
Keap has successfully tendered for a piece of work commissioned by ACESW called Next Generation to explore and highlight innovative and inspiring work in arts education for/by and with young people in the South West. This project is taking place over the next 6 weeks and will result in a selection of interesting examples of work to be showcased across the South West.
Next Generation aims to raise the profile of Art in Education. As part of this campaign, Keap is hosting a specific Art in Education blog http://www.keap.org.uk/next-generation-blog-posts
where, as well as profiling work we are able to have online conversations/debate around key themes. It is a platform for us all to contribute, post links, link out to like- minded souls and share experiences. Now is the time to join in – we want to hear it direct from the people who are delivering, commissioning and experiencing the work, across all art forms.
Do keep a look out for information about a series of Next Generation gatherings across the region. These will be great opportunities to meet, network and debate around best practice with practitioners and commissioners.
Now…it’s over to you…
