The Dar Tangerina Academy of Middle Eastern Dance and Music opens next week in Bristol- featuring weekly classes for beginners through to professionals in Bellydance and Middle Eastern folklore, workshops for all levels in many exciting styles, and events showcasing the beauty and tradition in Middle Eastern(ME) dance.

There will also be classes in ME percussion with Chas Whitaker and opportunites for advanced dancers to audition for the professional Tangerina Dance Company which recently launched at the Bristol Harbour Festival Dance Main Stage 2010.

Dar Tangerina's tuition will encourage individuals to develop their own style and confidence within the framework of safe and structured technical instruction and to discover the cultural and historical aspects relevant to these arts in a fun and positive environment.
